Want a very smooth and rich tone with less grit? This is the Gold Pin Option Retube Kit for the Peavey Encore 65. The preamp section uses three Gold Pin ECC83S's with one balanced for the phase inverter in V4 and a Gold Pin ECC81 for the reverb in V3. The default power tubes are a matched pair of the JJ 6L6GC’s but you can configure this kit to use the JJ 5881’s by clicking on the "Customize" button! 
The Balanced Gold Pin ECC83S is located in V4 farthest from the input jack and the Gold Pin ECC81 is located in V3.


These are fixed bias amps with no adjustment.
