Want a very smooth rich tone with less grit? This is the Gold Pin Option Retube Kit for the Peavey 6534+. The preamp section uses six Gold Pin ECC83S's with one balanced for the phase inverter in V6. The default power tubes are a matched quad of the JJ EL34's but you can configure this kit to use the JJ EL34II's, E34L’s, KT77’s, Big Bottle 6CA7’s or even a couple Integrated Quad options by clicking on the "Customize" button!

The Balanced Gold Pin ECC83S is located in V6 farthest from the input jack.

The bias is "slightly" adjustable on these amps. If you really want to get any set of power tubes biased up properly then swapping the 12K resistor on the bias board to a 10K will give a usable window.

Then use a bias probe check and adjust the bias, the factory test points are extremely inaccurate.
