Want all the gain you can get? This is our High Gain Option Retube Kit for the Orange Dual Terror. It contains a matched quad of JJ EL84's for power and four hand picked High Gain ECC83S's with two being current balanced for the phase inverters in V2 and V4.

Just let us know in the comments section if you're looking for an early breakup, a moderate breakup or a later breakup for more headroom in which case we will choose the coolest grades we have available for the power tubes.

The Balanced High Gain ECC83S's are located in V2 and V4 which are the second and fourth preamp tubes away from the input jack.

These amps are cathode biased, there is no bias adjustment to be made. The JJ EL844’s are a drop in replacement for EL84’s. The EL844’s will reduce the power output of the amp by a decibel or two which is very noticeable.
