Need all the gain you can get? This is our High Gain Retube Kit for the Mesa Stiletto Deuce. It uses three handpicked High Gain JJ ECC83S's in V1 through V3, a standard ECC83S in V4 and a current balanced ECC83S in V5. Designed to get maximum gain from your amp!

The default power tubes are the JJ E34L's which are very tight and punchy with more extension in the low end. With the Customize option you can configure this kit to use the JJ EL34’s, EL34II's, KT77’s or Big Bottle 6CA7’s.

**This kit does not come with a replacement rectifier tubes. If you'd like to add a pair you can use the Customize option and select either the JJ GZ34's or 5U4GB's. We do not automatically include replacement rectifier tubes because we've found that most players use the silicone diode mode exclusively. When you're in the silicone diode mode the rectifiers filaments are connected but the tube itself is bypassed.

V1 is located physically closest to the input jack on the front panel. The remaining positions go in numerical order with V5 being physically farthest from the input jack.

V1=ECC83S High Gain
V2=ECC83S High Gain
V3=ECC83S High Gain
V4=ECC83S Standard
V5=ECC83S Balanced

These amps are fixed bias with no adjustment.

All our Mesa Retube Kits include power tubes that are hand selected to run perfectly in Mesa amps. We have extensive hands-on experience measuring the fixed bias points in these amps and what grade of tubes will achieve optimal performance.
