Do you like fat mids and little extra high end sparkle? This is our ECC803S V1 Option Retube Kit and it contains a Long Plate JJ ECC803S for V1 for a little lower gain with big thick mids and a little more sparkle in the highs along with two standard ECC83S's for V2 and V3 and a balanced ECC83S for the phase inverter in V4. The default power tubes are a matched quad of the JJ 6L6GC’s but you can configure this kit to use the JJ 5881’s by clicking on the "Customize" button!

If your amp is the combo version and you choose to go with the 6L6GC's then please let us know in the comments section and we will ship your kit with the special Double Mica 6L6GC’s which will greatly reduce any tube rattle.

The Balanced ECC83S is located in V4 farthest from the input jack and the ECC803S is located in V1.

If your amp is a combo amp and you choose to go with the 6L6GC's then please let us know in the comments section. All Combo amp Retube Kits are shipped with the Eurotubes Double Mica 6L6GC’s at no extra charge. JJ Electronic started building us a proprietary version of their 6L6GC (the 6L6GC-DM) in 2005 with extra layers of mica. This reinforces the plate structure and all but eliminates tube rattle symptoms. For all other tubes such as GZ34’s, 5U4GB’s, 6V6S’s, 5881's, EL34’s, E34L’s etc, we recommend using our EuroDamper rings.

These amps are fixed biased, there is no bias adjustment to be made.
