Want some more warmth, punch and definition? This is our Standard Retube Kit for the Mesa Boogie 400. For the front end this kit contains four ECC83S's with two of them being current balanced for the phase inverters. The default power tubes are a matched sextet of the JJ Electronic 6L6GC's however you can configure this kit to use a sextet of the JJ 6550's or even a sextet of the JJ KT88 for some real thunder by clicking on the "Customize" button!

The two Balanced ECC83S's are located in V3 and V4 which are the two preamp tubes farthest from the input jacks.

These amps are fixed bias with no adjustment. The 6L6GC's, 6550's and KT88's are all plug and play with no mods or biasing necessary.
