Magnatone Single V SRV Option
Product Details

It's no secret that Stevie played his amps cranked and preferred a little cleaner sound from the front end allowing you to hear more power tube breakup. Well, this works really well with the Magnatone amps too! This kit uses a JJ 5751 for V1 which is in-between an ECC81 and an ECC83S in gain, two ECC832's which replace the 12DW7's, one ECC82 to replace the 12AU7 along with three ECC83S's with one balanced for the phase inverter in V7. The kit includes a JJ GZ34 rectifier tubes and the default power tubes are a matched pair of the JJ 6L6GC's, however you can configure this kit to use the JJ 5881's by clicking on the "Customize" button!

The Balanced ECC83S is located in V7 closest to the power tubes, the two ECC832's are located in V3 and V5 and the ECC82 is located in V6. The 5751 is located in V1.

These are adjustable bias amps and all you need to check and adjust the bias is a bias probe and a Multimeter, or our all-in-one Eurotubes "Pro One" bias probe that reads both the plate current and the plate voltage simultaneously.

You can use the "Generic Bias Video" we made using a Marshall 800 for reference.

The video below explains the difference between bias probe types.
