Blackstar HT1 & HT1R Tweed Option

Product Details

This is our Tweed Option Retube Kit for the Blackstar HT1 series amps. It contains a JJ 12AY7 for V1, and a Balanced ECC82 for power. The Tweed Option will drop the gain down a bit more than the SRV Option allowing you to get more power tube breakup at higher volumes. The JJ 12AY7 has a fat warm tone with a big shimmering sparkle in the high end!

Combo amps are very hard on tubes because of vibrations which can cause tube rattle with any brand of tube. If your amp is the combo version and you play by yourself in a quiet environment or record with your amp you may want to consider using the EuroDamper tube damper rings for the two tubes. These are available in the "Related Products” tab as a set of two and will greatly decrease tube rattle.

These amps are cathode biased, there is no bias adjustment to be made.
