Like FAT mids and a great high end sparkle? This is our ECC803S V1 Option Retube Kit for the Orange Dual Terror. It contains a matched quad of JJ EL84's for power, two JJ Long Plate ECC803S's for V1 and V3 and two current balanced ECC83S's for the phase inverters in V2 and V4.

Just let us know in the comments section if you're looking for an early breakup, a moderate breakup or a later breakup for more headroom in which case we will choose the coolest grades we have available for the power tubes.

The Balanced High Gain ECC83S's are located in V2 and V4 which are the second and fourth preamp tubes away from the input jack.

These amps are cathode biased, there is no bias adjustment to be made. The amount of clean headroom you’ll get from the power section is somewhat dictated by the grade of power tube used. A cooler grade of EL84’s will give you more clean headroom, whereas a warmer grade will give you earlier breakup. If you order online, leave us a note in the comments section letting us know your headroom preference (max headroom, middle of the road or early breakup).
