Want all the gain you can get from your Mark III Simulclass amp? This is our High Gain Option Retube Kit and it contains three handpicked High Gain ECC83S's for V1 through V3, a standard ECC83S's for V4 and a balanced ECC83S for the phase inverter in V5. Lots of gain and attitude!

The default power tube selection is a matched pair of JJ 6L6GC's and a matched pair of the JJ E34L's in a warmer grade to accommodate the fixed bias for the power section. With the customize option you can configure this kit to use straight 6L6GC's or 5881's or different EL34 variants for the outside sockets.

If your amp is the combo version and you choose to go with the 6L6GC's then please let us know in the comments section and we will ship your kit with the special Double Mica 6L6GC’s which will greatly reduce any tube rattle.

The Balanced ECC83S is located in V5 farthest from the input jack and the three High Gain ECC83S's are located in V1 thru V3. If you're running a mixed EL34/6L6 kit, the EL34 style tubes must be run in the outside sockets.

All Combo amp Retube Kits are shipped with the Eurotubes Double Mica 6L6GC’s at no extra charge. JJ Electronic started building us a proprietary version of their 6L6GC (the 6L6GC-DM) in 2005 with extra layers of mica. This reinforces the plate structure and all but eliminates tube rattle symptoms. For all other tubes such as GZ34’s, 5U4GB’s, 6V6S’s, 5881's, EL34’s, E34L’s etc, we recommend using our EuroDamper rings.

These amps are fixed biased, there is no bias adjustment to be made.
