Want all the gain you can get? This is the High Gain Option Retube Kit for the Marshall 50 Watt 800 2 Channel amps with 6550's. The preamp section uses three handpicked High Gain ECC83S's for V1 thru V3, a standard ECC83S for V4 and a handpicked High Gain current balanced ECC83S for the phase inverter in V5. The default power tubes are the JJ Electronic 6550’s but you can configure this kit to use the JJ KT66's or KT88’s by clicking on the "Customize" button.

The Balanced High Gain ECC83S is located closest to the power tubes in V5 and the three High Gain ECC83S's are located in V1 thru V3.

These are all adjustable bias amps and all you need to check and adjust the bias is a bias probe and a Multimeter, or our all-in-one Eurotubes "Pro One" bias probe that reads both the plate current and the plate voltage simultaneously. You can find all these under the Related Products Tab.

You can use the "Generic Bias Video" we made using a Marshall 800 for reference.
