Do you like FAT mids and some extra high end sparkle? This is our ECC803S V1 Option Retube Kit for the Gibson GA 40RVT and GA 42RVT Combo Amps. The preamp section includes a Long Plate ECC803S for V1 along with four ECC83S's with one balanced for the phase inverter in V5. The default power tubes are a matched pair of the JJ 6L6GC's, however you can configure this kit to use the JJ 5881's by clicking on the "Customize" button!

Bias Notes

The Balanced ECC83S is located in V5 closest to the power tubes and the ECC803S is located in V1.

These are cathode bias amps so both the JJ 6L6GC's and JJ 5881's are plug and play.
