Want to get more warmth and more of a vintage Fender tone from your Princeton Reverb RI? This kit uses a matched pair of the JJ 6V6S's for power, a JJ GZ34, three ECC83S's to replace the 12AX7's and an ECC81 to replace the 12AT7. More warmth and sparkle!

Tube location info: The ECC81 is located in V2. These amps use a split-load phase inverter circuit so no balanced tube is necessary.

Combo amps are very hard on tubes because of vibrations which can cause tube rattle with any brand of tube. If you play by yourself in a quiet environment or record with your amp you may want to consider using the EuroDamper tube damper rings for the two 6V6S’s and the GZ34. These are available in the "Related Products” tap as a set of three and will greatly decrease tube rattle.

All you need to adjust the bias on these amps is a bias probe and a multimeter or the Eurotubes "Pro One". All of these are are available in the "Related Products" tab.

We typically bias the JJ 6V6S's in Deluxe's to between 24 to as high as 30mA. The trim pot is external and you can use the Fender Deluxe Reverb bias video for reference.
