Want more growl from your SVT VR? This is the High Gain Option Retube Kit for the Ampeg SVT VR Blue Line Reissue. For the front end this kit contains three handpicked High Gain ECC83S's and two ECC82's for the preamp stage and two current balanced ECC82's and one current balanced ECC83S for the driver stage. The default power tubes are a matched sextet of the JJ Electronic KT88's however you can configure this kit to use a sextet of the JJ 6550's by clicking on the "Customize" button!

The balanced ECC82's replace the two 12AU7's and the balanced ECC83S replaces the 12AX7 closest to the 12AU7's. All of these are back by the power tubes.

The two standard ECC82's replace the 12AU7's up front and the three High Gain ECC83S's replace the three 12AX7's up front.

These amps are adjustable bias with LED indicators so all that is required is a screwdriver.
