EuroDamper Tube Damper Rings. After experimenting with various tube dampers in torture chambers (combo amps) for quite a while we finally decided to build them right. Mass is key to affecting the resonant characteristics of a tube. To get the mass we had to develop our own square-shouldered ring profile. After much R&D with different sizes/weights and silicone durometers, we shelled out the cash to have custom tooling made for our very own EuroDampers.
Our “EuroDampers” are made from a softer than standard durometer, special high temp silicone. These are BIG dampers with many times the mass of an off the shelf o-ring. The result is surprisingly effective.
