The EML PX25 is a recent and highly anticipated addition to EML’s catalog. Built true to the original British PX25 specifications but with a more accessible UX4 (medium 4-pin) base. The PX25 sits somewhere between a 2A3 and 300B in terms of power output, but with a unique sonic signature.
These tubes are part of the classic European 4V DHT family. The 4V filament combined with the increased transconductance and plate impedance (compared to the classic 2A3 or 300B), result in a clean, refined, and somewhat silky sound. Never bloated or rolled off, but always pleasing to the ear. The EML PX25 has quickly become a house favorite.
All Emission Labs tubes are inspected and tested in-house before shipment. All EML tubes are shipped in factory packaging, with factory test results, as well as our in-house test results.
