Eurotubes Octal Bias Probe

This octal 8 pin bias probe is one we make here at Eurotubes. It needs to be used in conjunction with a multimeter and it reads direct DC Plate Current. This probe can be used with most all octal based tubes including 6L6’s, 6V6’s, EL34’s, E34L’s, 6CA7’s, 6550’s, KT77’s, KT66’s and KT88’s.

Application Notes

Our Octal 8 Pin bias probe is a single head unit that must be used in conjunction with a multimeter. This probe takes a direct DC plate current measurement by breaking the plate connection (pin #3). It does not use a reference resistor and it is not in the cathode connection. This means you do not have to compensate for screen current or any other variables.
