Fender Deluxe Reverb II Standard Retube Kit

This kit is for the Rivera designed Fender Deluxe Reverb II. It uses a matched pair of the JJ 6V6S's for power, one ECC81 to replace the 12AT7 and five JJ ECC83S's with one balanced for the phase inverter. More warmth and definition.

Tube location info: The Balanced ECC83S is located in V6 closest to the power tubes and the standard ECC81 is located in V3.

Combo amps are very hard on tubes because of vibrations which can cause tube rattle with any brand of tube. If you play by yourself in a quiet environment or record with your amp you may want to consider using the EuroDamper tube damper rings for the two 6V6S’s. These are available in the "Related Products” tab as a pair and will greatly decrease tube rattle.

These amps are fixed biased, there is no bias adjustment to be made. The amount of clean headroom you’ll get from the power section is somewhat dictated by the grade of power tube used. A cooler grade of 6V6S’s will give you more clean headroom, whereas a warmer grade will give you earlier breakup. If you order online, leave us a note in the comments section letting us know your headroom preference (max headroom, middle of the road or early breakup).
