Want that fat mid and high end sparkle with the smooth Gold Pin tone? This is our Gold Pin ECC803S Option Retube Kit for the Fender Champ Amps including Tweeds, Blackface, Silverface and the Reissue Champ. This kit contains a single JJ 6V6S for power, a JJ 5Y3S and one Long Plate Gold Pin JJ ECC803S to replace the 12AX7.

Just let us know in the comments section if you're looking for an early breakup, a moderate breakup or a later breakup for more headroom in which case we will choose the coolest grade we have available for the power tube.

Tube location info: The Gold Pin ECC803S replaces the 12AX7.

Combo amps are very hard on tubes because of vibrations which can cause tube rattle with any brand of tube. If you play by yourself in a quiet environment or record with your amp you may want to consider using the EuroDamper tube damper rings for the 6V6S and the 5Y3S. These are available in the "Related Products” tab as a set of two and will greatly decrease tube rattle.

These are cathode biased so no adjustment is necessary.
