Bogner Goldfinger 45 Gold Pin Option

Product Details

It almost seems necessary. This will make your Goldfinger VERY smooth and rich sounding with less grit. This is our Gold Pin Option Retube Kit for the Bogner Goldfinger 45 Heads and Combo Amps. It uses a Gold Pin ECC83S in V1, a standard Gold Pin Long Plate ECC803S in V2, a current balanced Gold Pin ECC803S in V3 for the phase inverter, a Gold Pin ECC81 in V4 and a standard Gold Pin ECC83S in V5. The default power tubes are a matched quad of the JJ 6V6S's.

The Balanced Gold Pin ECC803S is located in V3.

Combo amps are very hard on tubes because of vibrations which can cause tube rattle with any brand of tube. If your amp is the combo version and you play by yourself in a quiet environment or record with your amp you may want to consider using the EuroDamper tube damper rings for the four 6V6S’s. These are available in the "Related Products” tab as a set of four large dampers and will greatly decrease tube rattle.

These are adjustable bias amps and all you need to check and adjust the bias is a Multimeter. If you do not have a Multimeter they are available under the "Related Products" tab.
