Looking for a vintage vibe with FAT mids and a real sparkle? This is the ECC803S V1 Option Retube Kit for the hand wired Ampeg Jet 20. It contains a matched pair of the JJ 6V6S's, a JJ GZ34 in the power section and the preamp section uses a JJ Long Plate ECC803S for V1 for a little lower gain with big thick mids and a little more sparkle in the highs along with two ECC83S with one being current balanced for the phase inverter in V3.

The Balanced ECC83S is located in V3 closest to the power tubes and the ECC803S is located in V1.

Combo amps are very hard on tubes because of vibrations which can cause tube rattle with any brand of tube. If you play by yourself in a quiet environment or record with your amp you may want to consider using the EuroDamper tube damper rings for the two 6V6S’s and the GZ34. These are available in the "Related Products” tab as a set of three and will greatly decrease tube rattle.

These are fixed bias non-adjustable.
