Want more warmth and definition? This is our Standard Retube Kit for the Fender Vibro Champ Amps including Blackface, Silverface and the Eric Clapton Vibro Champ. This kit contains a single JJ 6V6S for power, a JJ 5Y3S and two JJ ECC83S's to replace the 12AX7's.

Just let us know in the comments section if you're looking for an early breakup, a moderate breakup or a later breakup for more headroom in which case we will choose the coolest grade we have available for the power tube.

Combo amps are very hard on tubes because of vibrations which can cause tube rattle with any brand of tube. If you play by yourself in a quiet environment or record with your amp you may want to consider using the EuroDamper tube damper rings for the 6V6S and the 5Y3S. These are available in the "Related Products” tab as a set of two and will greatly decrease tube rattle.

These are cathode biased so no adjustment is necessary.
