Want a really smooth and rich tone with less grit? This is our Gold Pin Option Retube Kit for the Carr Raleigh. It uses two Gold Pin ECC83S's for the front end and the default power tube is a single JJ EL84. With the Customize option you can configure this kit to use a JJ EL844 which will drop the power output a couple decibels (ideal for players wanting decreased headroom/output).

The ECC83S's replace the 12AX7's.

If you play by yourself in a quiet environment you may want to consider using our EuroDamper rings. These are available under the "Related Products" tab and will greatly decrease tube rattle.

Carr recommends 30mv for the EL84 and we recommend 22mv for the JJ EL844 as its dissipation is 9 watts.
