Bad Cat Cub III 40R Standard Retube Kit

Looking to warm up your Cub III 40R? This is our Standard Retube Kit for the Bad Cat Cub III 40R Amps. It uses five ECC83S's with one being current balanced for the phase inverter, an EF806 to replace the EF86 in V1 and a GZ34 rectifier tube. The default power tubes are a matched pair of the JJ Electronic E34L's but you can configure this kit to use the JJ EL34II's, EL34’s, KT77’s or Big Bottle 6CA7’s by clicking on the "Customize" button!

The Balanced ECC83S is located in closest to the power tubes and the EF806 is closest to the input jack.

These amps are cathode biased so the E34L's, EL34 II's, EL34's, KT77's and 6CA7's are all plug and play.
